After 3 minutes, Tonio Rebolloso made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. UD Callancay's Cruz Cañete tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 7 minutes into the match, 30 seconds to mars's Tonio Rebolloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cruz Cañete narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edison Florian took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cruz Cañete. Cruz Cañete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. UD Callancay's Cruz Cañete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordero Alfonso in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of 30 seconds to mars booed when UD Callancay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramírez Reyero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UD Callancay's zone, Tonio Rebolloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cruz Cañete came out of the goal and Tonio Rebolloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yago Iracheta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 19th playminute. 22 minutes into the match, 30 seconds to mars's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Font came free, but Xofre Villoldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cruz Cañete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonio Rebolloso in the 24th minute of play. Yago Iracheta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Xofre Villoldo made a huge save. Carlos Font fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xofre Villoldo having to interfere. Carlos Font received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Xofre Villoldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Carlos Font dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xofre Villoldo, 2-2. Carlos Font fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xofre Villoldo having to interfere. Manuel Balaunde kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Yago Iracheta in the 68th minute of play forced 30 seconds to mars's goalkeeper Xofre Villoldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yago Iracheta took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xofre Villoldo. Xofre Villoldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Yago Iracheta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, 30 seconds to mars's Cordero Alfonso got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. UD Callancay had played much better football throughout.
