Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Humberto Berlanga started the match with the kick off. Grueso Bodelon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cántaro Archuleta having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Félix Campoo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mastrantal SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14th minute of the match Chucho Sarmanton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cántaro Archuleta skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grueso Bodelon in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cántaro Archuleta saved Mastrantal SC from getting behind. Anangonó Ayuso kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Anangonó Ayuso fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mastrantal SC's protests and gave Anangonó Ayuso a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Mastrantal SC got a freekick which was hit by Anangonó Ayuso. In the 21st minute, Pedro Guareña sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mastrantal SC's Cántaro Archuleta didn't even have to move. After 27 played minutes Mastrantal SC got a freekick which was hit by Anangonó Ayuso. If José-Francisco Mateos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José-Francisco Mateos might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cántaro Archuleta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José-Francisco Mateos ran back to his position shaking his head. Grueso Bodelon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cántaro Archuleta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Grueso Bodelon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puculcay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Grueso Bodelon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cántaro Archuleta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 43 minutes, Grueso Bodelon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puculcay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grueso Bodelon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When José-Francisco Mateos came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Puculcay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José-Francisco Mateos couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Puculcay FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Mastrantal SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Guareña took the corner. Pedro Guareña made a great header on Puculcay FC's corner, it was just that Mastrantal SC's Cántaro Archuleta managed to reach the ball for a save. 55 minutes into the game, Félix Campoo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mastrantal SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puculcay FC the free kick. A collision led to Mastrantal SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Félix Campoo hit a great ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Carnero Colado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puculcay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carnero Colado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mastrantal SC's zone, José-Francisco Mateos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cántaro Archuleta came out of the goal and José-Francisco Mateos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Puculcay FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Félix Campoo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Vistruario Herenchun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mastrantal SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vistruario Herenchun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Trejo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Puculcay FC's Grueso Bodelon got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 85th minute, José-Francisco Mateos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Senderos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, José-Francisco Mateos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cántaro Archuleta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
