In the 11th minute, Weterio Marcilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaviedes Valcuende who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Rubio Canta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Weterio Marcilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubio Canta was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Abel Ganchegui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Barea having to make a save. Abel Ganchegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Yasuni FC's Rubio Canta got control of the ball when Kaviedes Valcuende tried to sneak it across the goal line. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rubio Canta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Yasuni FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Xepe Pruano hit a great ball. Rubio Canta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaviedes Valcuende went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 2-0 became the score in the 35th minute when Weterio Marcilla elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Rubio Canta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 41st minute of the match, Weterio Marcilla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rubio Canta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 42nd minute, Xepe Pruano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Bucesta made a kick off. Rubio Canta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Weterio Marcilla in the 52nd minute of the match. If Adrian Bucesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Marcelo Viguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yasuni FC's Vitor Lomba couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 60th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Holstein S.V.. 66 minutes into the game, Holstein S.V.'s Weterio Marcilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubio Canta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. If Weterio Marcilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Holstein S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Viguera. After recieving a nice pass, Yasuni FC's Vitor Lomba tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 83rdth minute of the game Kaviedes Valcuende who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yasuni FC's Rubio Canta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Weterio Marcilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xepe Pruano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Barea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Yasuni FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
