In the 10th minute, UD Guachala's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerardo Dorado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Mendez Cianca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Juripilaca FC a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ignacio Sena, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UD Guachala's Bone Raiz. 1-0. In the 22nd minute Xacobo Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bone Raiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Dorado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Bone Raiz made a huge save. Gerardo Dorado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bone Raiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Corrales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arévalo Carda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Dorado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bone Raiz having to interfere. Gerardo Dorado might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bone Raiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Dorado ran back to his position shaking his head.

56 minutes into the match, Juripilaca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arévalo Carda came free, but Freddy Corrales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Gerardo Dorado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bone Raiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 67thth minute of the game Xacobo Bernal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Guachala's Bone Raiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mendez Cianca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Corrales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute Xacobo Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bone Raiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovando Olozaga kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. UD Guachala's Rogerio Jerez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Freddy Corrales but with some difficulty. After 83 played minutes Juripilaca FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Santamaria. Gerardo Dorado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bone Raiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Dorado in the 91st minute of the match. There was no doubt that Juripilaca FC were the better team. Juripilaca FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
