The audience was convinced that Arévalo Carda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xzavier Negroni was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arévalo Carda to strike the kick off in the second half. Amador Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bone Raiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bone Raiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Ubago, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to UD Guachala getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Xantalen Feyto hit a great ball. Arévalo Carda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Mendez Cianca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Amador Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC ISRAEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Checa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SC ISRAEL booed when UD Guachala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xantalen Feyto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xzavier Negroni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mendez Cianca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Mendez Cianca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC ISRAEL's Xzavier Negroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arévalo Carda in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC ISRAEL's zone, Mendez Cianca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xzavier Negroni came out of the goal and Mendez Cianca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xzavier Negroni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arévalo Carda, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Amador Checa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Patricio Ubago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, SC ISRAEL's goal looked a bit too open when Arévalo Carda came free, but Xzavier Negroni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC ISRAEL's Patricio Ubago got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. UD Guachala had won after a very even match.
