Xaver Doral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Escobar Bailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th match minute, CD Meza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ursino Marques to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Yoelvis Cagigas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Bezanilla. Moca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yoelvis Cagigas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Danny Peral fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moca's protests and gave Danny Peral a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Moca got a freekick which was hit by Danny Peral. Vincent Echeverria kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Moca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Villafuerte Alva scored to the left of an out of position Sergio Bezanilla, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Escobar Bailey in the 32nd minute of play forced CD Meza's goalkeeper Xaver Doral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CD Meza getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gabriel Falceto hit a great ball. When Vincent Echeverria was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. Moca's Enrique Dorronsoro got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Enrique Dorronsoro came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Moca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Dorronsoro couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Yoelvis Cagigas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xaver Doral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Dorronsoro in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Escobar Bailey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moca's supporters rose to their feet, but Escobar Bailey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xaver Doral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Enrique Dorronsoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Edison Ubago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Meza the free kick. In the 67th minute, Edison Ubago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yoelvis Cagigas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Bezanilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Yoelvis Cagigas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Bezanilla having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoelvis Cagigas in the 75th minute of play forced Moca's goalkeeper Sergio Bezanilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Villafuerte Alva fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Meza's protests and gave Villafuerte Alva a yellow card for diving instead. Villafuerte Alva kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, one of CD Meza:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Meza. After a rather tough play, Moca's Ambrossi Irala got a free kick in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CD Meza's zone, Escobar Bailey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xaver Doral came out of the goal and Escobar Bailey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Dorronsoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute, Villafuerte Alva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, Moca's Ximeno Sarmanton broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Moca's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CD Meza had won, even though Moca had held more of the ball.
