When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Vellito Corroto sped through CD Olmedo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xerardo Carrero. After a defensive mix-up in CD Olmedo's zone, Vellito Corroto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xerardo Carrero came out of the goal and Vellito Corroto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Videl Hornos in the 9th minute of play forced Jazmines's goalkeeper Rosero Maliaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Gualda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Xerardo Carrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jazmines's Vellito Corroto in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vellito Corroto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Xerardo Carrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernan Barbadillo in the 53rd minute. Henry Gualda scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xerardo Carrero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Jazmines walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
