Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lavallén Mina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Sanjuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. José Ovin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Héctor Sanjuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lavallén Mina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, CD Cuembi's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Sanjuan came free, but Lavallén Mina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lavallén Mina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Sanjuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the CD Cuembi defense, José Ovin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lavallén Mina. The CD Cuembi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lavallén Mina should have stopped the shot. Lavallén Mina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Sanjuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CD Cuembi's Lavallén Mina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor Sanjuan in the 45th minute of play. Lavallén Mina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Sanjuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Héctor Sanjuan to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, CD Chaquicuna's Alonso Muniz got a free kick in the 56th minute. Lavalle Buelva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarando Naveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 minutes, Braulio Estancion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Cuembi and the CD Chaquicuna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes CD Cuembi got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Estancion. Héctor Sanjuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Ovin took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lavallén Mina. Lavallén Mina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Lavallén Mina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Héctor Sanjuan's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. If José Ovin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 84 in the game by José Ovin from a close distance when the talented Lavallén Mina managed to make a qualified save. CD Cuembi's players were relieved. 89 minutes into the match, Héctor Sanjuan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lavallén Mina, 0-3. Arlín Narez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lavalle Buelva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CD Cuembi's zone, José Ovin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lavallén Mina came out of the goal and José Ovin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
