Hurtado Argüelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Chaulla getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Zambrano Cobian hit a great ball. In the 7th minute Hurtado Argüelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yacine Zitouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Hurtado Argüelles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yacine Zitouni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 14 minutes, Ximun Campano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaulla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ximun Campano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ximun Campano got free with Facundo Checa in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Chaulla's Segundo Betolaza got a free kick in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, CD Huarinja's Hurtado Argüelles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yacine Zitouni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The long shot by Zambrano Cobian in the 33rd minute really tested Facundo Checa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Yacine Zitouni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hurtado Argüelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neicer Corton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Yacine Zitouni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Neicer Corton struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Yacine Zitouni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Huarinja. Neicer Corton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yacine Zitouni firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Ximun Campano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Facundo Checa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonio Macia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ximun Campano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Facundo Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Tonio Macia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CD Huarinja's Facundo Checa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximun Campano in the 83rd minute of play. Facundo Checa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Betolaza in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Chaulla's Ximun Campano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Facundo Checa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ximun Campano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Facundo Checa was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Although Chaulla had been in control for most of the match, CD Huarinja still came away with the win.
