In the 8th minute Rios Guruzeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Campano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejandro Quemada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuri Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Longar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alejandro Quemada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Longar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Quemada having to interfere. Isaias Seseña's late challenge caught a Tuntag SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Seseña helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot by Zoilo Diguja from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Alejandro Campano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 33rd minute, Criban Serantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Moste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alejandro Campano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Moste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Delicias SC's Antonio Longar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Quemada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Longar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Zoilo Diguja made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Campano. Delicias SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 59th minute Antonio Longar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Quemada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Delicias SC's Sergio Herrasti got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 78th play minutes Rios Guruzeta shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Alejandro Campano and just under the crossbar into goal. If Ricardo Moste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes, Zoilo Diguja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tuntag SC and the Delicias SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Delicias SC booed when Tuntag SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoilo Diguja didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rios Guruzeta in the 97th minute of play forced Delicias SC's goalkeeper Alejandro Campano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Delicias SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tuntag SC.
