The supporters of UD Guangopolo booed when Pillig FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubelteso Mirueña didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Garcia Samperio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Coronel Viñambres was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Humberto Sasiain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pillig FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venerando Brunet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Sasiain hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Santiago Almazan in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by UD Guangopolo's Angel Masdeu. UD Guangopolo's Almandoz Pizaño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save UD Guangopolo from getting a goal against them. In the 41st match minute, UD Guangopolo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montalvo Manaut to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Sasiain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almandoz Pizaño having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesse Van den Berch to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Garcia Samperio put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Coronel Viñambres. Garcia Samperio struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Venerando Brunet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Almandoz Pizaño read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Santiago Almazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Sasiain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Venerando Brunet made a precise shot to the right of Almandoz Pizaño. UD Guangopolo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Almandoz Pizaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venerando Brunet, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Pillig FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UD Guangopolo for a fine match.
