The supporters of Charapoto SC booed when FC Negreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Pozuelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Fortunato Tofino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charapoto SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fortunato Tofino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zavior Neriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Flavio Suane fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charapoto SC's protests and gave Flavio Suane a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Charapoto SC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Flavio Suane hit a great ball. Zxavian Borines struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Justavino Aya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Negreira. Justavino Aya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zxavian Borines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zxavian Borines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Charapoto SC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Flavio Suane hit a great ball. FC Negreira's Zavior Neriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC Negreira from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, FC Negreira's goalkeeper Zavior Neriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noriega Angostina. Fortunato Tofino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zavior Neriz having to interfere. Castro Mazon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Cortez Alaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justavino Aya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zxavian Borines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charapoto SC's Justavino Aya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zxavian Borines in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fortunato Tofino to strike the kick off in the second half. Justavino Aya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Castro Mazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Flavio Suane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Charapoto SC's goalkeeper Justavino Aya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zxavian Borines. Zxavian Borines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justavino Aya having to interfere. Justavino Aya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Castro Mazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Fortunato Tofino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zxavian Borines got free with Justavino Aya in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Justavino Aya made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Zxavian Borines sent off a good shot on target. Zxavian Borines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Justavino Aya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute of the match Cortez Alaña sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zavior Neriz skillfully saved the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
