Hernan Escalzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Vladimiro Heyros shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xavier Camacho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joel Ledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Zarra in the 10th minute of the match. Mauro Zarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Zarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Joel Ledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Leon Corton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Muchine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Corton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xavier Camacho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zilar Aquino in the 19th minute. Leon Corton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Celen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Corton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vera Badas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by CD Muchine's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulizes Grado was slow to take the kick. During this time UD Celen's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ulizes Grado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Xavier Camacho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joel Ledo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Mauro Zarra sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 61 minutes, Mauro Zarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 62nd minute, Leon Corton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, UD Celen's Joel Ledo got control of the ball when Ivan Maseda tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Mauro Zarra notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of UD Celen's Joel Ledo. Joel Ledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, UD Celen's Joel Ledo got control of the ball when Mauro Zarra tried to sneak it across the goal line.
