Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Ivan Maseda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Krikorian Seoane was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 6th minute, Ivan Maseda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ysidro Can got free with Xavier Camacho in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Xavierlada Morquera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Fontecha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Camacho having to interfere. Krikorian Seoane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Zarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Krikorian Seoane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Corton in the 21st minute of play. Esmeraldas SC's Krikorian Seoane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Maseda in the 22nd minute of play. CD Muchine's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Ubaldo Fontecha scored to the left of an out of position Xavier Camacho, making the score, 1-1. Krikorian Seoane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Zarra in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Esmeraldas SC's Urtsin Isasi got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the CD Muchine defense, Ysidro Can kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavier Camacho. The CD Muchine fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavier Camacho should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Ysidro Can put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Xavier Camacho. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leon Corton was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Esmeraldas SC's Krikorian Seoane got control of the ball when Ivan Maseda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubaldo Fontecha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Xavier Camacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urtsin Isasi took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xavier Camacho. Xavier Camacho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 58 minutes into the match, CD Muchine's goal looked a bit too open when Ysidro Can came free, but Xavier Camacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Maseda got free with Krikorian Seoane in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esmeraldas SC's Krikorian Seoane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Corton in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Esmeraldas SC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Urtsin Isasi hit a great ball. Ysidro Can recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Maseda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Krikorian Seoane made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, CD Muchine's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Fontecha came free, but Xavier Camacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Fontecha in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavier Camacho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute Justavino Maixenchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Camacho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Vasco Palomera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Krikorian Seoane. That made the score 4-2 in the 81 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mauro Zarra managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Muchine's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Zarra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krikorian Seoane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Maseda took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krikorian Seoane. Krikorian Seoane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Xavier Camacho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Fontecha in the 95th minute of the match. Esmeraldas SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
