The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Urtats Bardece took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Leira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ordóñez Pandilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Salazano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Roris Isurieta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guanazan SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Jaramillo the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Guanazan SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roris Isurieta to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubio Somellera in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urtats Bardece prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guanazan SC's Rubio Somellera got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urtats Bardece showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubio Somellera in the 26th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Hernan Leira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Urtats Bardece was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th play minute Xinaro Guilizasti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ordóñez Pandilla. 1-1. After having played for 41 minutes, Xinaro Guilizasti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Jaramillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xinaro Guilizasti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danny Salazano to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, Guanazan SC's Alex Vispieres got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Urtats Bardece. Guanazan SC's Hernan Leira got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Xinaro Guilizasti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ordóñez Pandilla. Guanazan SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xinaro Guilizasti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Xinaro Guilizasti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ordóñez Pandilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ordóñez Pandilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danny Salazano's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. If Xinaro Guilizasti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Xinaro Guilizasti managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Jaramillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Xinaro Guilizasti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ordóñez Pandilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Xinaro Guilizasti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ordóñez Pandilla. Guanazan SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xinaro Guilizasti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. If Rubio Somellera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubio Somellera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
