Urritz Bayllo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomon Pabon, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Urritz Bayllo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Gox in the 32nd minute. In the 41st minute of the match, Alejandro Gox got a very nice opportunity to score, but Urritz Bayllo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salomon Pabon to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolando Vanegas scored 2-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Facundo Caraduje, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, España Zumaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salomon Pabon in the 76th minute of play forced Pinllocoto's goalkeeper Urritz Bayllo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Higueroncito SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pinllocoto had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
