After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Xacobo Cantalapiedra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Columbia's supporters rose to their feet, but Xacobo Cantalapiedra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulizes Guevara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xacobo Cantalapiedra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nunez Mella hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool F.C.'s zone, Xacobo Cantalapiedra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulizes Guevara came out of the goal and Xacobo Cantalapiedra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Fleytas spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Liverpool F.C.'s goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Fausto Fleytas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liverpool F.C.'s Ulizes Guevara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ismael Lomelin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Almandoz Recemill. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Liverpool F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ortíz Perez to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Fleytas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ulizes Guevara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulizes Guevara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zayvius Valiente, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Lomelin to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Columbia got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Mella. Vilson Toldra struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Almandoz Recemill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool F.C.. In the 59th minute Fausto Fleytas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulizes Guevara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ismael Lomelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Vilson Toldra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Almandoz Recemill was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Ismael Lomelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Ortíz Perez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Columbia the free kick. Ortíz Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xacobo Cantalapiedra got free with Ulizes Guevara in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Almandoz Recemill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Lomelin in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C.'s goalkeeper Ulizes Guevara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xacobo Cantalapiedra. Columbia's Fausto Fleytas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xacobo Cantalapiedra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ulizes Guevara made a huge save.
