Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Silvio Marentos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Zumar Real skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 7 minutes into the game, Silvio Marentos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pelagallo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elena FC the free kick. Silvio Marentos kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Elena FC's goalkeeper Zumar Real had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Marentos. After a defensive mix-up in Elena FC's zone, Silvio Marentos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zumar Real came out of the goal and Silvio Marentos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, Pelagallo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximenes Chavarre to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes, Elena FC's Pinto Valdenebro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zilar Murillas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elena FC reached it. After 18 minutes, Marcelo Hebia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elena FC and the Pelagallo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Zumar Real, was totally fooled by Pelagallo's Timoteo Ballejos, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Blandón Abraldez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zumar Real having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Silvio Marentos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pelagallo's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Marentos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zumar Real breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Silvio Marentos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes of play, Elena FC's Paolo Chapital made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zilar Murillas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Paolo Chapital got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johnny Cabello to make the kick off. Silvio Marentos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zilar Murillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Cabello, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Paolo Chapital's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Zilar Murillas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Silvio Marentos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Blandón Abraldez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zumar Real saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Chapital could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Zilar Murillas made a huge save. Elena FC's Zumar Real played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blandón Abraldez in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Elena FC booed when Pelagallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Ballejos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Pinto Valdenebro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elena FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pinto Valdenebro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zilar Murillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blandón Abraldez scored 2-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zumar Real, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Paolo Chapital could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Zilar Murillas however easily saved by the left post. Pelagallo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
