Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vistruario Gaig took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ambrossi Gainzarain might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Cavallosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambrossi Gainzarain ran back to his position shaking his head. Ambrossi Gainzarain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Cavallosa having to make a save. After having played for 7 minutes, Vistruario Gaig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shumunde SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vistruario Gaig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jairón Madaria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vistruario Gaig's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Vistruario Gaig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairón Madaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincente Coz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairón Madaria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vistruario Gaig, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 21 played minutes UD Guajibamba got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Riancho. The audience was convinced that Vistruario Gaig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairón Madaria was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Zornin Sanles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shumunde SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zornin Sanles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairón Madaria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vincente Coz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairón Madaria having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Vistruario Gaig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrossi Gainzarain was the one to do the kick off. Gustavo Binel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xabel Arrojo charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xabel Arrojo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. UD Guajibamba's Tonio Alcayde couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Shumunde SC. After a rather tough play, Shumunde SC's Zornin Sanles got a free kick in the 59th minute. Shumunde SC's Alfredo Cavallosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Binel in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, UD Guajibamba's goalkeeper Jairón Madaria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincente Coz. After a rather tough play, Shumunde SC's Xamin Landeros got a free kick in the 68th minute. Alfredo Cavallosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Binel in the 69th minute of the match. Vincente Coz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairón Madaria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vistruario Gaig, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute of the match Tonio Alcayde shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Cavallosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jairón Madaria made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Vincente Coz sent off a good shot on target. After 95 played minutes Shumunde SC got a freekick which was hit by Xaiver Oton. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
