Jacobo Anguiano took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Urtuuste. Leandro Urtuuste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Xavies Iscar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urcusique SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavies Iscar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Conejero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Urcusique SC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Rancaño came free, but Leandro Urtuuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Jacobo Anguiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Leandro Urtuuste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Urcusique SC booed when Chandil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salas Vime didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Querejeta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leandro Urtuuste. Urcusique SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Chandil booed when Urcusique SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walme Calderona didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Ruben Recondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximo Rancaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Urtuuste having to interfere. Xavies Iscar hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mellington Maoño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Anguiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Urtuuste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Urcusique SC's Leandro Urtuuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Rancaño in the 53rd minute of play. Mellington Maoño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fidel Conejero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Chandil defense, Xavies Iscar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Conejero. The Chandil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Conejero should have stopped the shot. Leandro Urtuuste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Rancaño in the 66th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Urcusique SC got a freekick which was hit by Bone Larios. In the 74th minute, Raul Querejeta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Urcusique SC's Leandro Urtuuste didn't even have to move. After 92 played minutes, Chandil's Martinez Aujea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leandro Urtuuste came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chandil reached it. If Mellington Maoño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chandil succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Urcusique SC had controlled the match.
