With a little luck, UD Muey's Hernandez Valtierra got control of the ball when Urritz Piciña tried to sneak it across the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the game, Jerson Tebar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Chacras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Muey the free kick. Emilio Rozas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernandez Valtierra was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Uhin Cadiz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Uhin Cadiz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 48th minute, Zeruko Tofiño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xelo Serradell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After the first half UD Muey were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
