Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cagua Zubizarrieta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Aires Llanez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estevez Anguciana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Piedad FC's Denis Moure got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute of the match Vitin Yecora sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Montaña skillfully saved the ball. Estevez Anguciana made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Edgardo Loredo sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the game, Orfilio Caneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piedad FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pangayacu the free kick. Orfilio Caneiro hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes of play, Pangayacu's Cagua Zubizarrieta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Montaña was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute Piedad FC were awarded a corner. Tyrone Vilanova went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Tyrone Vilanova got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Estevez Anguciana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Denis Moure kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Denis Moure's late challenge caught a Pangayacu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Moure helped the player get up and apologised. Diego Montaña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cagua Zubizarrieta went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cagua Zubizarrieta in the 34th minute of play forced Piedad FC's goalkeeper Diego Montaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Montaña stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mercado Sierro's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Cagua Zubizarrieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Piedad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mercado Sierro came free, but Diego Montaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Orfilio Caneiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Estevez Anguciana. That made the score 1-2 in the 44 minute of play. Paúl Murieta's late challenge caught a Pangayacu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paúl Murieta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th minute, Paúl Murieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Pangayacu were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aires Llanez made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Piedad FC's zone, Mercado Sierro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Montaña came out of the goal and Mercado Sierro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cagua Zubizarrieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Montaña having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Piedad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cagua Zubizarrieta came free, but Diego Montaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aires Llanez in the 74th minute of play forced Pangayacu's goalkeeper Estevez Anguciana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estevez Anguciana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Loredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Edgardo Loredo scored 2-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Estevez Anguciana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Edgardo Loredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cagua Zubizarrieta in the 89th minute of play forced Piedad FC's goalkeeper Diego Montaña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piedad FC's Orfilio Caneiro got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Orfilio Caneiro off the ground. The supporters of Pangayacu booed when Piedad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orfilio Caneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
