The supporters of Charqui booed when UD Putzalahua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Figueroa Megia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pepito Arraiz fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Putzalahua's protests and gave Pepito Arraiz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Pepito Arraiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calderón Perdiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eduardo Ester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, UD Putzalahua's Edwin Marin got a free kick in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the game, one of UD Putzalahua:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Charqui a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Brito Bedia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UD Putzalahua's Eduardo Ester. 1-1. After 35 played minutes UD Putzalahua got a freekick which was hit by Figueroa Megia. In the 36th minute of the match Brito Bedia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Ester showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to UD Putzalahua getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Xurdin Montemiuño hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Calderón Perdiz lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Eduardo Ester. Gonzalo Estany struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Wellington Amenedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Putzalahua. When Xurdin Montemiuño came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the UD Putzalahua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xurdin Montemiuño couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Veto Ameda to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Gonzalo Estany got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wellington Amenedo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. In the 64th minute Calderón Perdiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Ester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veto Ameda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Pepito Arraiz rounded Charqui's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. Wellington Amenedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepito Arraiz in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Figueroa Megia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Veto Ameda might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Ester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Veto Ameda ran back to his position shaking his head. Eduardo Ester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calderón Perdiz in the 88th minute of play. Wellington Amenedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepito Arraiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Gonzalo Estany had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veto Ameda in the 95th minute of play forced UD Putzalahua's goalkeeper Eduardo Ester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
