Pepito Arraiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Rotaetamorga having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Urruchua in the 32nd minute of play forced UD Putzalahua's goalkeeper Eduardo Ester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Estany could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Eugenio Rotaetamorga made a huge save. In the 42nd minute Pepito Arraiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Rotaetamorga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayuy's Eugenio Rotaetamorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Estany in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Gonzalo Estany managed to get in a good position for a shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
