Gualdeleg SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eugenio Contreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Xilo Cugurulls tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Udalaitz Vandoma during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Udalaitz Vandoma kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Gualdeleg SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Curiel came free, but Jeremias Mexia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Vasco Iturbe lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jeremias Mexia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Cobo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Gualdeleg SC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Cobo. In the 31st minute Calabria were awarded a corner. Victoro Arrate went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Calabria's corner Victoro Arrate fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jeremias Mexia quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Olozagoitia in the 33rd minute of play forced Calabria's goalkeeper Xilo Cugurulls to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Olozagoitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Xilo Cugurulls tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasco Iturbe was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasco Iturbe in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Mexia saved Gualdeleg SC from getting behind. When Gualdeleg SC's Romulo Olozagoitia, in the 63rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gualdeleg SC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergio Come during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gualdeleg SC:s Jeremias Mexia showed great skill when he stopped Victoro Arrate:s penalty. Eugenio Contreras's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Xilo Cugurulls skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 71 played minutes Calabria got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Curiel. Eugenio Contreras in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xilo Cugurulls, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 73rd minute Romulo Olozagoitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xilo Cugurulls saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Mexia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Iturbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jeremias Mexia came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Calabria's Vasco Iturbe. But to his dismay, Vasco Iturbe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jeremias Mexia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Alaiz in the 86th minute of the match. If Santos Alaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Alaiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jeremias Mexia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calabria walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
