Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mario Ingueros kicked off to start the match. Vasco Encia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Manta's goalkeeper Francisco Rojas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Francisco Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batista Villayres in the 6th minute of the match. Ninta SC's Batista Villayres got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ninta SC's William Cardeño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Ingueros in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ninta SC's Eduardo Faubelo got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Vasco Encia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninta SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vasco Encia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorino Jorge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Batista Villayres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CD Manta's Francisco Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Encia in the 27th minute of play. William Cardeño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Ingueros, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Mario Ingueros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batista Villayres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasco Encia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Rojas having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vasco Encia made a kick off. The Ninta SC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Ninta SC's Batista Villayres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Wilson Largacha hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, López Cariga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CD Manta's Francisco Rojas didn't even have to move. Francisco Rojas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Encia, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. William Cardeño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Ingueros, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Victorino Jorge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Manta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mario Ingueros hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ninta SC's Batista Villayres got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
