Julio Mendes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Azconzábal Alpanseque's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Hernandez Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Mendes having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Azconzábal Alpanseque to strike the kick off in the second half. Bohórquez Lavet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salvador Roncesvalles having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bohórquez Lavet in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Roncesvalles saved Vicin from getting behind. Salvador Roncesvalles made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Xzaver Subijana sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huashicta's goalkeeper Julio Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edson Ruimonte hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ramirez Dicastillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Mendes. Huashicta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd minute Bohórquez Lavet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Roncesvalles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
