Víctor Vesga came out and tried to block the shot, but Gavica Orcajo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. Zoil Capacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Medel having to interfere. Johnny Medel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoil Capacho in the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Relojero's zone, Lisandro Antezana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Víctor Vesga came out of the goal and Lisandro Antezana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Antezana got free with Víctor Vesga in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gavica Orcajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Víctor Vesga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Gavica Orcajo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Intriago Caroso came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Relojero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Intriago Caroso couldn't finish the play. CD Jipijapa's Johnny Medel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoil Capacho in the 32nd minute of play. Luis-Antonio Dolarea kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Víctor Vesga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lisandro Antezana in the 36th minute. Xzavaier Escapa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match.
