Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nixon Costilla took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes UD Charupi got a freekick which was hit by Palacios Vizcarra. With a little luck, UD Charupi's Iachetti Durango got control of the ball when Villegas Jacome tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th match minute, UD Penas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Infiesto to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, UD Charupi's goalkeeper Iachetti Durango had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Villegas Jacome. Villegas Jacome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Iachetti Durango tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Mario Cagigas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iachetti Durango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Benedid hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Iachetti Durango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zumar Fortis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Caldero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nixon Costilla in the 28th minute of play. After 40 played minutes UD Penas got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Trespalacios. After a defensive mix-up in UD Penas's zone, Macias Reymondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Caldero came out of the goal and Macias Reymondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to UD Penas getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Villegas Jacome hit a great ball. Nixon Costilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Caldero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nixon Costilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 51 played minutes UD Charupi got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Ruperto. 52 minutes into the game, UD Penas's Zumar Fortis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iachetti Durango made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. UD Penas's Mario Cagigas got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Marful could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Roberto Caldero made a huge save. If Miguel Marful had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iachetti Durango showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villegas Jacome, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Hernando Randoli kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Villegas Jacome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anibal Benedid during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zumar Fortis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Marful fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Caldero having to interfere. Palacios Vizcarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Caldero having to interfere. Fernando Infiesto kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th match minute, UD Charupi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaver Lamboy to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Caldero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nixon Costilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Iachetti Durango made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villegas Jacome in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Mario Cagigas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Penas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Charupi the free kick. Fernando Infiesto kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. A collision led to UD Charupi getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Miguel Marful hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Miguel Marful shot a free kick towards goal which, to his disappointment, went just outside the left post.
