A collision led to Pambamarca SC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ismael Grijan hit a great ball. Pambamarca SC's Marquez Uruñuela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Pambamarca SC from getting a goal against them. Romulo Cedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xan Aoiz in the 17th minute of play forced Pambamarca SC's goalkeeper Marquez Uruñuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xan Aoiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Marquez Uruñuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Ismael Grijan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villarreal Trasmiera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brito Navia's late challenge caught a Curiachi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brito Navia helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Curiachi booed when Pambamarca SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brito Navia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marquez Uruñuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xan Aoiz in the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José-Luis Junguito during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 played minutes Pambamarca SC got a freekick which was hit by José-Luis Junguito. In the 33rd minute, José Orense sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pambamarca SC's Marquez Uruñuela didn't even have to move. If Ismael Grijan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ismael Grijan came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Pambamarca SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Grijan couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Grijan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romulo Cedillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Curiachi a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by José Orense, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pambamarca SC's Marquez Uruñuela. 1-0. Curiachi's Villarreal Trasmiera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Grijan in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Pambamarca SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubendu Maderos to maneuver through the defense. Diego Riesgo charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Riesgo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Terron got free with Villarreal Trasmiera in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curiachi's goalkeeper Villarreal Trasmiera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marquez Uruñuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Cedillo in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match, Ismael Grijan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Villarreal Trasmiera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Juan-Carlos Santamaria's late challenge caught a Pambamarca SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan-Carlos Santamaria helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Curiachi got a freekick which was hit by Juan-Carlos Santamaria. Ismael Grijan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Villarreal Trasmiera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romulo Cedillo in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marquez Uruñuela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marquez Uruñuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xan Aoiz in the 88th minute of play. Ismael Grijan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villarreal Trasmiera having to make a save. If Freddy Terron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pambamarca SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Curiachi.
