After a rather tough play, Susufinde's Klimovich Presilla got a free kick in the 17th minute. Andres Bautista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Encina in the 18th minute of the match. Lara Tortoles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Bautista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Susufinde getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Villota Taranco hit a great ball. Rubio Lamiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Xuban Capistrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubio Lamiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Santo Encina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Susufinde's Klimovich Presilla got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, UD Puerto's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Trullols came free, but Xuban Capistrano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in UD Puerto's zone, Rubio Lamiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xuban Capistrano came out of the goal and Rubio Lamiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santo Encina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Lara Tortoles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Bautista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Encina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Bautista having to interfere. Andres Bautista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lara Tortoles in the 57th minute of the match. Rubio Lamiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xuban Capistrano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of UD Puerto booed when Susufinde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klimovich Presilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. UD Puerto's Xuban Capistrano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save UD Puerto from getting a goal against them. Andres Bautista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lara Tortoles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Encina couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Susufinde's zone, Santo Encina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Bautista came out of the goal and Santo Encina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The UD Puerto fans cheered their team off the field, for while Susufinde had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
