Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sanchez Molfi started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Sanchez Molfi. A collision led to Achique getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Carlos-Alberto Silvestre hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Romeo Cobos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laguna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 17 minutes, Wellington Velaostegui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laguna and the Achique players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wellington Velaostegui kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Laguna booed when Achique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xerardo Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Zacarias Latorre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achique's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Latorre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Apodaca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Criban Viñaspre went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 40 minutes, Victor Asturias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laguna and the Achique players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Laguna's Wellington Velaostegui got a free kick in the 44th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Criban Viñaspre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Apodaca. The goal made the score 1-2. Sanchez Molfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Laguna's Sanchez Molfi in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Achique's goalie prevented a goal. Xzavaier Sagrario kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, Laguna's Romeo Cobos made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodríguez Echaitia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romeo Cobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Laguna's Edgar Apodaca got control of the ball when Zacarias Latorre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Asturias kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Achique's attack was well implemented in the 82nd minute, but when Criban Viñaspre was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Sanchez Molfi put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rodríguez Echaitia. If Zacarias Latorre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Laguna fans cheered their team off the field, for while Achique had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
