The UD Jempekat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Viedes should have stopped the shot. José Ayerza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xabel Balboa in the 42nd minute of play. When Vermudo Soler came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Tapiapamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vermudo Soler couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vermudo Soler made a kick off. Xabel Balboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Silveira having to interfere. If Simon Bugarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Vermudo Soler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Viedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Bugarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xabel Balboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xabel Balboa in the 86th minute of play forced Tapiapamba's goalkeeper Edgar Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perez Fragua hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, José Ayerza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute José Ayerza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes Tapiapamba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was George Navas who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that George Navas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgar Silveira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tapiapamba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
