Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ruperto Inestrosa got the match started through his kick off. Ruperto Inestrosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaniusky Aro having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Salitre SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferrer Echandi came free, but Graziani Gobeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Ferrer Echandi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yataqui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Carlos Cañaveral scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Graziani Gobeo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ruperto Inestrosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruperto Inestrosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yaniusky Aro. That made the score 1-2 in the 32 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto Inestrosa in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yaniusky Aro saved Yataqui from getting behind. Graziani Gobeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferrer Echandi in the 38th minute of play. Ruperto Inestrosa struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Yaniusky Aro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salitre SC. Carlos Cañaveral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Olazabal hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferrer Echandi made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Ferrer Echandi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Graziani Gobeo was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Graziani Gobeo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Carlos Cañaveral sent off a good shot on target. Ferrer Echandi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Xavion Bendicho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Yaniusky Aro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Inestrosa scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yaniusky Aro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walter Vilaro's late challenge caught a Yataqui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walter Vilaro helped the player get up and apologised. Walter Vilaro hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 71 minutes in the game, Carlos Cañaveral fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Graziani Gobeo having to interfere. In the 73rd minute of the match Espinoza Valiente shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Graziani Gobeo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Yaniusky Aro came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Salitre SC's Xavion Bendicho. But to his dismay, Xavion Bendicho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Yataqui's Ferrer Echandi got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Graziani Gobeo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Ferrer Echandi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Xavion Bendicho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yaniusky Aro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Salitre SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferrer Echandi came free, but Graziani Gobeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Ugaitz Ontova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 94 minutes, Ruperto Inestrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salitre SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruperto Inestrosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yataqui's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
