Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wilfredo Miras made the kick off which started today's match. Carcelén Olivos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hidalgo Valladolid having to interfere. UD Choyata's Carcelén Olivos got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carcelén Olivos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hidalgo Valladolid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Miras's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. When Obregón Duro fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Palin's protests and gave Obregón Duro a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes CD Palin got a freekick which was hit by Obregón Duro. Ximenes Cabalar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilfredo Miras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in UD Choyata's zone, León Alborza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Burgo came out of the goal and León Alborza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CD Palin's Hidalgo Valladolid proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save CD Palin from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, CD Palin's Evelio Posadas got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for León Alborza to strike the kick off in the second half. Carcelén Olivos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carcelén Olivos in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hidalgo Valladolid saved CD Palin from getting behind. UD Choyata's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when León Alborza scored to the left of an out of position Juan Burgo, making the score, 0-1. 62 minutes into the match, Ximenes Cabalar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Burgo, 0-2. Omar Lillo's late challenge caught a UD Choyata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Lillo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Omar Lillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute of the match Zaquiel Ochandio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hidalgo Valladolid showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to CD Palin getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Sergio Molla hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Zaquiel Ochandio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CD Palin's Hidalgo Valladolid didn't even have to move. Emiliano Ruidiez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Veronica Gurbista charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veronica Gurbista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes CD Palin got a freekick which was hit by Veronica Gurbista. Juan Burgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from León Alborza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by León Alborza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. León Alborza struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Juan Burgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Palin. León Alborza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Burgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Ximenes Cabalar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers León Alborza in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Burgo saved UD Choyata from getting behind. The CD Palin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Palin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
