Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cortez Bengolea made the kick off and thus started the match. Gabriel Leston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Astera having to interfere. In the 8th minute Cortez Bengolea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Quiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cortez Bengolea struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Edgardo Quiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moldonado. 13 minutes into the game, Cortez Bengolea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edgardo Quiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaime Astera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Reza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Zoil Irigoras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moldonado and the Shagly players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Moldonado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoil Irigoras to maneuver through the defense. Pancho Baruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 played minutes Moldonado got a freekick which was hit by Juan Silveira. 26 minutes into the match, Shagly's Fortunato Boldu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rolando Reza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cortez Bengolea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moldonado's supporters rose to their feet, but Cortez Bengolea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Quiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 minutes, Maximo Juez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moldonado and the Shagly players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Moldonado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Juez to maneuver through the defense.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolando Reza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cortez Bengolea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Edgardo Quiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Dragranda kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Hugo Queralt fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shagly's protests and gave Hugo Queralt a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Shagly got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Queralt. Jaime Astera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Leston in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Reza in the 87th minute of play forced Moldonado's goalkeeper Jaime Astera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pancho Baruzs short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Edgardo Quiros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Moldonado's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
