Umbruso Llago helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Viejo's Umbruso Llago got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Veronica Erazo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Leston in the 12th minute of the match. Rolando Reza took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Veronica Erazo. Veronica Erazo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Shagly's Edgardo Quiros got control of the ball when Richard Cabañeros tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Shagly getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hugo Queralt hit a great ball. In the 35th minute Rolando Reza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veronica Erazo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Quiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Zamora, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 39 minutes, Unax Serena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shagly and the Viejo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Shagly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Unax Serena to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Quiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Zamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Sergio Subirada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Quiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Zamora in the 44th minute of play. Veronica Erazo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Leston went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubaldo Zamora made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Shagly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Queralt to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes, Viejo's Zxavian Lelerre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgardo Quiros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Viejo reached it. In the 59th match minute, Shagly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Queralt to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Quiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Zamora in the 66th minute of play. Richard Cabañeros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Viejo's Ubaldo Zamora in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shagly's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th minute, Rolando Reza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 played minutes Viejo got a freekick which was hit by Umbruso Llago. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Reza in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veronica Erazo saved Viejo from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Richard Cabañeros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viejo's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Cabañeros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Quiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richard Cabañeros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Shagly eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
