In the 27th minute Ramiro Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jama Ozores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentine Capitillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzales Caras in the 35th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zilar Fontao during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tocadel FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Zilar Fontao hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Oscar Folgueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonzales Caras might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentine Capitillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonzales Caras ran back to his position shaking his head. Roque Gimilio struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Valentine Capitillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazareto.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Guamán Salvador in the 51st minute of play forced Lazareto's goalkeeper Jama Ozores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jama Ozores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guamán Salvador, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Valentine Capitillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzales Caras in the 58th minute. Valentine Capitillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Gimilio in the 59th minute of the match. Oscar Folgueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Gimilio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentine Capitillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 81st minute, Oscar Folgueira made a precise shot to the right of Jama Ozores. Lazareto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Roque Gimilio took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Valentine Capitillo to make any attempt to save it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lazareto players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tocadel FC.
