Piganta's Dannes Entia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Checa Munet in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Angel Nava hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Colmenarejo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Piganta's Yago Rebellon got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 17 minutes, Checa Munet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Chiguaza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Checa Munet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dannes Entia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xosepe Cedron, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Yago Rebellon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piganta's goalkeeper Dannes Entia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yago Rebellon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but García Rafales made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Piganta's goal looked a bit too open when Stalin Barco came free, but Dannes Entia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piganta's Dannes Entia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Checa Munet in the 41st minute of play. After 46 minutes, Checa Munet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Chiguaza and the Piganta players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Piganta's Pepe Barreiro in the 49th minute got a chance for a shot 49th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Checa Munet made a kick off. The supporters of CD Chiguaza booed when Piganta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vergaray Lertora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stalin Lapenya kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Xosepe Cedron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dannes Entia having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Angel Nava hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th match minute, Piganta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stalin Lapenya to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Velasco Ayo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dannes Entia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pepe Barreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yago Rebellon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. García Rafales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Pepe Barreiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piganta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pepe Barreiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Xosepe Cedron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dannes Entia. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 90th minute Checa Munet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dannes Entia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Checa Munet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Stalin Barco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The CD Chiguaza players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
