The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of CD Miranda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sdcay FC:s goal. When Guillermo Torrecillas fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sdcay FC's protests and gave Guillermo Torrecillas a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Saldivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee showed Uzuri Marva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sdcay FC! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esterilla Villarprego stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arturo Arbulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xanti Revenga having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sdcay FC defense, Emilio Saldivar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xanti Revenga. The Sdcay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xanti Revenga should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Saldivar in the 58th minute of play forced Sdcay FC's goalkeeper Xanti Revenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sdcay FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute there was a penalty for CD Miranda. Xelo Sierro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Xanti Revenga. 4-1. The audience was convinced that Emilio Saldivar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xanti Revenga was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Sdcay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Pesquera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xacintu Granolles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Arturo Arbulo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xacintu Granolles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Pesquera in the 95th minute. After some careless play in the Sdcay FC defense, Emilio Saldivar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xanti Revenga. The Sdcay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xanti Revenga should have stopped the shot. CD Miranda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
