Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zernin Morell made the kick off which started today's match. Nando Capacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colay FC's goalkeeper Candelario Gallerreta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zernin Morell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Chalá Diego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Valentine Urrue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Nando Capacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candelario Gallerreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zernin Morell came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Colay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zernin Morell couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zernin Morell in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chalá Diego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nando Capacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Washington Porras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nando Capacho made the kick off in the second half. Zernin Morell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Candelario Gallerreta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 57 played minutes Caranqui SC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Ripalta. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Washington Porras in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chalá Diego saved Caranqui SC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Caranqui SC's zone, Washington Porras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chalá Diego came out of the goal and Washington Porras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute Zernin Morell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chalá Diego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Valentine Urrue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Candelario Gallerreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Capacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando Capacho might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candelario Gallerreta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nando Capacho ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Colay FC's Rosario Santatis got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Valentine Urrue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nando Capacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Porras in the 82nd minute of play forced Caranqui SC's goalkeeper Chalá Diego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caranqui SC's De-Jesús Herdozain suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrossi Murieta during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ambrossi Murieta kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Nando Capacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marques Colmenarejo during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Colay FC got a freekick which was hit by Marques Colmenarejo. Chalá Diego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zernin Morell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Caranqui SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
