Valentine Urrue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentine Urrue struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Lopez Huarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caranqui SC. Lopez Huarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Capacho in the 9th minute of play. Nando Capacho didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 13th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Nando Capacho ran dejectedly back to his position. Chalá Diego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Elguero in the 15th minute of play. Zosimo Pañeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chalá Diego having to interfere. Chalá Diego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Elguero in the 19th minute of the match. Caranqui SC's Chalá Diego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Elguero in the 21st minute of play. Lopez Huarte was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Nando Capacho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nando Capacho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Valentine Urrue took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lopez Huarte. Lopez Huarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Valentine Urrue who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Lopez Huarte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valentine Urrue recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lopez Huarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nando Capacho's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Nando Capacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nando Capacho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Caranqui SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 43 played minutes UD Shainkiam got a freekick which was hit by Guamán Pedros. Valentine Urrue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lopez Huarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nando Capacho was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes UD Shainkiam got a freekick which was hit by Vernaza Mostache. Valentine Urrue fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lopez Huarte having to interfere. The supporters of Caranqui SC booed when UD Shainkiam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candelario Capelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nando Capacho might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lopez Huarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nando Capacho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Nando Capacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caranqui SC's goalkeeper Chalá Diego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victoriano Elguero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chalá Diego having to interfere. Victoriano Elguero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdo Trapiella during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, UD Shainkiam's Rocio Ugartondo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Chalá Diego. Bagui Cortiguera struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Chalá Diego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Shainkiam. If Valentine Urrue had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nando Capacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lopez Huarte having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Caranqui SC's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Elguero came free, but Chalá Diego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caranqui SC's Chalá Diego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Elguero in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Caranqui SC had played much better football throughout.
