Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chico Caval started the match with the kick off. Cruz Maquibar might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amador Sans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cruz Maquibar ran back to his position shaking his head. Ismael Paza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Paza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ximenez Burualla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Torres Villaquiran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Arenal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guambalo the free kick. In the 11th match minute, UD Arenal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torres Villaquiran to maneuver through the defense. Amador Sans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Caval in the 12th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Delgado Gijon made a precise shot to the right of Ximenez Burualla. Guambalo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, Guambalo's Chico Caval sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Sans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. UD Arenal's Amador Sans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chico Caval in the 31st minute of play. Ismael Paza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ximenez Burualla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guambalo's Trivniño Diz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th match minute, Guambalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ximenez Trincado to maneuver through the defense. Delgado Gijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ximenez Burualla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Guambalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xerardo Castelo to maneuver through the defense. Ximenez Burualla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Paza in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Ramón Cero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Guambalo were awarded a corner. Humberto Gallardo went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Trivniño Diz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ximenez Burualla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Paza in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Guambalo booed when UD Arenal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torres Villaquiran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cruz Maquibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Delgado Gijon came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the UD Arenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delgado Gijon couldn't finish the play. Ximenez Burualla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Paza in the 76th minute of the match. Ismael Paza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delgado Gijon in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ximenez Burualla, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Guambalo's goalkeeper Ximenez Burualla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Delgado Gijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ximenez Burualla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ismael Paza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 98 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. UD Arenal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
