Silvio Tufiño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiriboga Diz having to interfere. When Alex Folgueras came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Pital FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Folgueras couldn't finish the play. In the 19thth minute of the game Alex Folgueras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granada's Chiriboga Diz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvio Tufiño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pital FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cortez Barma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lavalle Hormaza in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvio Tufiño was the one to do the kick off. When Lucas Carces came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Granada fans jumped to their feet. Pital FC's Cortez Barma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Pital FC from getting a goal against them. Lavalle Hormaza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Granada's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Cortez Barma managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Granada's Lucas Carces fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Pital FC's Cortez Barma got control of the ball when Lucas Carces tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Dani Beamud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Tufiño in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiriboga Diz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucas Carces sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
