Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Urapamba's Cordero Galarza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Venerando Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walme Valenzuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Horcajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Cordero Galarza took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Martinez Damar to make any attempt to save it. If Xabel Joara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to CD Claudina getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nando Aldeco hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Venerando Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urapamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venerando Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cordero Galarza fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Urapamba's protests and gave Cordero Galarza a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Urapamba got a freekick which was hit by Cordero Galarza. In the 31st minute Xabel Joara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walme Valenzuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Tomas Horcajo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Walme Valenzuela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walme Valenzuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xabel Joara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Tomas Horcajo managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Claudina's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Horcajo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walme Valenzuela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walme Valenzuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Horcajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Tomas Horcajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Walme Valenzuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Xabel Joara made the kick off in the second half. If Cordero Galarza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Cordero Galarza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martinez Damar. CD Claudina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cordero Galarza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Martinez Damar came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Urapamba's Venerando Fernandes. But to his dismay, Venerando Fernandes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Venerando Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martinez Damar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Venerando Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Martinez Damar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordero Galarza's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Tomas Horcajo in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Walme Valenzuela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Urapamba's zone, Tomas Horcajo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walme Valenzuela came out of the goal and Tomas Horcajo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Tomas Horcajo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Walme Valenzuela, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of CD Claudina booed when Urapamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reyes Bettencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. CD Claudina's Tomas Horcajo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Horcajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martinez Damar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paiva Zubiaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
