After 15 played minutes, UD Algarrobera's Damian Chaniz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mateus Calenga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UD Algarrobera reached it. Osorio Guridi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Huertas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Calenga having to interfere. The supporters of Pasuculu SC booed when UD Algarrobera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Monterroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joffre Irizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Guismonde to strike the kick off in the second half. The Pasuculu SC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Pasuculu SC's Joffre Irizar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Osorio Guridi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Damian Chaniz's late challenge caught a Pasuculu SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Chaniz helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osorio Guridi during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
