In the 30th minute Guamán Iza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuriko Navajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuriko Navajas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilson Avecia's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilson Avecia in the 34th minute of play forced CD Puelazo's goalkeeper Zuriko Navajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zuriko Navajas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Facundo Susvilla went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 45th match minute, CD Puelazo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Varon to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The referee ignored CD Puelazo's protests and gave Enrique Antia a yellow card for diving instead. Enrique Antia kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Enrique Antia notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of UD Colimes's Ferrer Moreno. Ferrer Moreno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Facundo Susvilla charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
