Paz Sabino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vilson Avecia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilson Avecia in the 18th minute of play forced CD Atacames's goalkeeper Paz Sabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mane Jayaga struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ferrer Moreno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Atacames. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guamán Iza got free with Paz Sabino in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guamán Iza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Paz Sabino made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UD Colimes reached it. CD Atacames's Xavion Ocariz got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilson Avecia in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paz Sabino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paz Sabino didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UD Colimes's Vilson Avecia shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. UD Colimes's Guamán Iza got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xavion Ocariz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ferrer Moreno made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The UD Colimes fans cheered their team off the field, for while CD Atacames had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
