Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes, Alonso Petino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Puelazo and the Ushpud players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes, CD Puelazo's Vigil Solanos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pico Caldero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Puelazo reached it. Pico Caldero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Antia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Mijares hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Enrique Paternina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Johnny Villaquiran fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ushpud's protests and gave Johnny Villaquiran a yellow card for diving instead. Villafuerte Vinuesa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Zuriko Navajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Paternina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pico Caldero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Pico Caldero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Johnny Villaquiran kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Villafuerte Vinuesa to make the kick off. Ushpud's Villafuerte Vinuesa got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ushpud's goalkeeper Pico Caldero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Enrique Antia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Antia got free with Pico Caldero in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd match minute, Ushpud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector-Luis Galdamez to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Paternina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pico Caldero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Espínola Forcelledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pico Caldero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Espínola Forcelledo ran back to his position shaking his head. Pico Caldero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Espínola Forcelledo in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Enrique Antia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Puelazo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Antia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Antias short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Pico Caldero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 86 minutes into the match, CD Puelazo's Enrique Antia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pico Caldero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Espínola Forcelledo scored 1-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pico Caldero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. John Calera might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zuriko Navajas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. John Calera ran back to his position shaking his head. The Ushpud supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CD Puelazo's performance. The match ended with a win for CD Puelazo.
