Pico Caldero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilson Avecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Ferrer Moreno was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Hector-Luis Galdamez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. A beautiful save bye UD Colimes's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Villafuerte Vinuesa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ushpud's supporters rose to their feet, but Villafuerte Vinuesa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferrer Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Villafuerte Vinuesa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferrer Moreno came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Ushpud's Hector-Luis Galdamez. But to his dismay, Hector-Luis Galdamez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 83 minutes, Hector-Luis Galdamez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ushpud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector-Luis Galdamez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Villafuerte Vinuesa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferrer Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villafuerte Vinuesa in the 95th minute of play.
